POLICY RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Influencing policy through innovation and practice continues to be at the core of SEDI's mission.   We are constantly progressing in our vision and objectives in all four policy areas thorugh research, dialogue, and proposing new policies with the potential to benefit disadvantaged Canadians.   We learn from our program implementation, from our partnerships across Canada, and from our international networks.

In addition to nation-wide research and policy advocacy, SEDI also advocates and designs specific programs such as the Self-Employment Benefits (SEB) Program and the Continuum Model to Employability (CME).   Read more about SEDI's policy areas in: self-employment, youth, asset building, and financial capability.   Our most recent policy discussion papers are available under Resources.
