SEDI needs your help to reach out to people who are in need. Whether they are temporarily unemployed, need to upgrade their skills or require assistance to start their own business, these individuals are counting on us to help them get on track.

Not to mention the alarming number of disadvantaged people across Canada whose financial situation is truly bleak – people such as unemployed single mothers, high-school dropouts and new immigrants struggling to find work – who just need that one break to get back on their feet.

Providing struggling individuals and families with the tools they need to get a fresh start or break free from the cycle of poverty makes good economic sense, plain and simple. Whether it's through self-employment programs, financial incentives, continuing education or networking, SEDI provides win-win solutions that benefit the entire community.  

SEDI can give them the tools they need to make it happen.  But we can't do it alone.
