The ultimate goal of SEDI's youth work is to ensure there are economic self-sufficiency opportunities in every Canadian community for young people that face various barriers. Each program we create, each activity we undertake, and each community partnership we engage in are aimed at ultimately contributing to a policy environment that will assist this target group in a meaningful way. We are not interested in building a series of disconnected short-term program opportunities for youth but hope to contribute to a positive environment for young people to achieve self-sufficiency in their community of choice.
